In 2019, we took part in PITCH.UA for socially important content .
We decided to send several applications. One of them was a synopsis of the series. The idea for the series was born in 2014. And, as often happens, it was preserved in archives. To my surprise, this is the idea that was competitively selected. Although the producers bet on a different idea. .

ANTI-HERO OR ANTAGONIST?
Often these two concepts are confused. Let's figure it out.
An anti-hero is a protagonist, that is, the main character, simply endowed with negative qualities - bad-boy.
And the antagonist is a character who opposes the protagonist.
So, if our hero is bad gay, then his antagonist may be a policeman, who is actually not such a good person!
Why do we empathize with Anti-heroes?
MEDIA TRENDS AND POPULAR CONTENT
In recent years, TV channels began to give away their positions to Youtube and streaming services. More and more high-quality shows, such as "VDUYD»(in Russ market) get more popular. This is a new era of online content and it’s rapidly entering the market.
In America, this format has been developing for a more long time. For example, very popular show @RedTebleTalk. This is a talk show with all the members of Will's Smith family. And it is broadcast not on the TV channel, and not even on Youtube, but on facebookwatch.
OSCAR 2019
So, tonight there'l be the 91st Oscar nomination. Oscar is the most prestigious film award of the United States, and of course the world. The Oscar has been awarded since 1929, and the gilded statuette began to be given in 1039.
Film critics are already talking about their predictions. However, the winners are strictly kept secret until they are announced.
This year 24 nominations are presented. Film academy planned to add another nomination - "films with the largest box office". But this proposal was rejected.

FIRST WOMAN FILM DIRECTOR AND SECRETS OF TV
We just returned from Germany. It wasn't our first trip there but we were greatly impressed. Whatever, I wanted to tell you about the secrets of television and an outstanding woman director.
The founder of television is considered to be United States. The British defend on theyr priority. But, in fact, the first regular television broadcasts were established precisely in Nazi Germany.
The first broadcast took place in 1935.
WHY DIRECTOR SHOULD BE A SCREENWRITER?
First of all, the director is a story teller. And this is what you should be able to do VERY well!
From this skill will depend how you'll ignite the team, whether the producers will give you money for your movie, whether your picture will be profitable or fail at the box office.
Today there are a lot of good directors, but few good screenwriters.
Therefore, I strongly recommend directors to learn screenwriting skills.
WHERE TO GET THE INSPIRATION?
Creative people, especially when they work a lot, there comes point when they burns. This is more about screenwriters, directors and actors. Where to take strength and how to get inspire?
My master once said "Inspiration does not visit lazy one!"
If you'll be just sitting and waiting for some inspiration, it won't come suddenly. Most likely it won't happen.
I found several options for inspiration for myself and I'ii share them with you.
HOW TO FIND APPROACH TO ACTOR?
The actors are people of subtle nature. And for each of them we need to find their approach, establish connection with them. How to do that, and what kind of methods are more effective ? To do this you need to know psychology, to understand what psychotype refers to this actor? And you will understand how to find an approach to him.
I'm lucky one, my elder sister is a psychotherapist. So, she always advised me interesting psychology books.
You noticed that directors with some actors have one way of communication, and with others - other one. Why?
If to summarize, there are 2 variants of artists.
FUCK THE ETHICS!
When we talk about a director, most of you represent a stern person who cries, breaks down and humiliates everyone. It happens indeed , but it's not always so.
The director is a master of conflict. But the master of the conflict on the set. It doesn't mean that the conflict should be created in the whole life. Humiliate your colleagues is not a sign of professionalism.
So, at the age of 18, I got on the set of "What Men Talk About" and there I saw a completely different director.
MUSIC CLIP - AS A TOOL FOR SALES.
Music video is one of the most interesting forms of video works.
Since 2011 I work on music video. However, I more like movie, but music video came into my life again and again. And I really loved this form.
I graduated marketer and film director faculty. So, I'd like to talk about the music video from both sights creativity and promotion. The essence of the clip is a singers promo. Thanks to the music video that singers have orders for events. The success of music video in the network increases the popularity of the song. As a result, more people come to the concerts. Of course, everything should work in combination - rotations on the radio and music video on tv. Ok, lets return to the video.
HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR MOVIE?

It was very informative event for me. Maybe because I'm not a PR, but a film director.
But it was great to meet here Roma Grischuk and Andrei Sharko. This is the reason why you should go to the events like that. Not only to get new info, but to meet friends or to get to know them again.

WHERE DOES THE FILM BEGIN?
What does the movie begin with? In the beginning, we define the theme of our future movie. What interests us? Then the hero comes - he is our key, a prism through which we will consider the topic. Of course, there is a conflict, everything should spin around it . And the obstacles that must be overcome by our hero to reach the goal, to reach the finale.
Before you start working on a script - you should see the whole movie.

HOLLYWOOD INSIDE
Visited the workshop "Hollywood inside". I’ll share some information and insights, which were discussed there. In fact, for sure, there were broken pink glasses of beginners. There weren't no magic pills, and magic recipes. Hollywood is a tough competition. Forget that you’ll be on the first pages of magazines. It wont happen. In general, talked about many things that are known. But some of then inspired me.
